Community Guidelines

Maa Nest is built on trust, safety, respect, and responsible childcare support. These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) apply to all users of Maa Nest, including Parents, Guardians, Family Members, Caregivers, and visitors.
By using Maa Nest, you agree to follow these Guidelines and help maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment for everyone.
1. Respectful Behaviour
All users must:
- Communicate respectfully
- Treat others with dignity
- Maintain professional conduct
- Avoid abusive or offensive behaviour
- Respect cultural and personal boundaries
Maa Nest does not tolerate harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, hate speech, discrimination, or exploitation.
1.1 Women Caregiver Safety Commitment
Maa Nest currently operates as a women-only caregiver platform and is committed to a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for women Caregivers. Caregivers may report:
- Harassment
- Inappropriate conduct
- Threats
- Unsafe environments
- Discrimination
- Boundary violations
Maa Nest may investigate such reports and take appropriate action.
2. Child Safety First
Child safety is the highest priority on Maa Nest. Users must:
- Prioritise child wellbeing
- Maintain safe interactions
- Report safety concerns immediately
- Avoid negligent behaviour
- Follow emergency instructions responsibly
Any activity that may endanger a child may result in immediate suspension, permanent removal, and reporting to authorities where necessary.
2.1 Mandatory Child Safety Reporting
You are encouraged to immediately report child neglect, child abuse, unsafe childcare practices, endangerment concerns, serious injuries, or suspicious conduct. Maa Nest may cooperate with law-enforcement authorities and child-protection agencies where legally required.
3. Professional Conduct Expectations
Caregivers and Parents are expected to:
- Be punctual
- Maintain hygiene and appropriate appearance
- Provide accurate information
- Follow platform policies
- Behave professionally during bookings and communication
Unprofessional behaviour may affect ratings, platform visibility, incentives, and account access.
4. No Harassment or Abuse
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Verbal abuse
- Sexual harassment
- Physical intimidation
- Threatening behaviour
- Aggressive conduct
- Exploitative behaviour
- Humiliation or shaming
This applies during bookings, in chats, on calls, on social media, in reviews or ratings, and during support interactions.
4.1 Zero-Tolerance Policy
Maa Nest maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child abuse, sexual misconduct, harassment, violence, exploitation, human trafficking, grooming behaviour, and criminal conduct. Violations may result in immediate suspension, permanent removal, reporting to authorities, and legal proceedings.
5. Honest Information & Verification
Users must provide genuine information, submit authentic documents, use their real identity, and avoid impersonation. Fake IDs, verification documents, credentials, profiles, or reviews may result in permanent suspension and legal action.
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
Users must respect privacy at all times and shall NOT:
- Share personal information publicly
- Upload private conversations online
- Disclose child information
- Reveal addresses or phone numbers
- Record others without consent
- Share sensitive details from bookings
Privacy violations may result in immediate account action.
6.1 Child Privacy Standards
Users shall not share child photographs publicly, publish child names without authorisation, reveal child medical information, disclose child schedules, or distribute sensitive childcare information. Maa Nest considers child privacy a critical safety obligation.
7. Recording & CCTV Rules
Parents must disclose CCTV cameras, audio-recording systems, and monitoring devices. Hidden surveillance intended to invade privacy is prohibited.
Caregivers may not record children or families, take photos or videos without authorisation, livestream sessions, or share booking-related content online.
8. Platform Integrity & Fair Use
Users may NOT:
- Circumvent the platform
- Arrange private or off-platform bookings
- Avoid platform payments
- Manipulate ratings or reviews
- Abuse referral or reward systems
- Create duplicate accounts
- Attempt fraud or scams
Maa Nest may investigate suspicious activity.
8.1 Fraud Prevention Measures
Maa Nest may investigate fake profiles, identity misuse, referral abuse, duplicate accounts, payment fraud, review manipulation, and circumvention attempts. Suspicious activity may lead to account restrictions or termination.
9. Respect Personal Boundaries
Users must maintain appropriate boundaries.
Parents shall NOT demand personal favours, pressure Caregivers into unrelated work, request inappropriate services, or force off-platform communication.
Caregivers shall NOT overstep personal boundaries, misuse access to homes or information, or engage in inappropriate familiarity.
10. Safe Environment Expectations
Parents must provide a reasonably safe environment. Unsafe situations may include violence, severe intoxication, illegal activity, threatening conduct, or unsafe premises. Caregivers may leave immediately if safety concerns arise.
10.1 Women Safety Rights
Women Caregivers may immediately leave a booking location if they reasonably believe there is:
- Harassment
- Threatening behaviour
- Illegal activity
- Unsafe conditions
- Severe intoxication
- Sexual misconduct
Emergency exits from unsafe situations shall not be treated as misconduct.
11. Fair Reviews & Ratings
Reviews and ratings should be honest, respectful, and reflect genuine experiences. Users shall NOT post false allegations, threaten users through reviews, use abusive language, or attempt extortion through ratings. Maa Nest may remove content that violates these Guidelines.
11.1 Review Integrity
Reviews and ratings shall not be used to harass or pressure users, demand refunds, threaten account actions, or unfairly damage reputations. Maa Nest may remove reviews that violate platform standards.
12. Emergency & Incident Reporting
Users should immediately report child safety concerns, injuries, misconduct, harassment, emergencies, fraud attempts, and policy violations through official Maa Nest support channels.
12.1 Reporting Timeline
You are encouraged to report serious incidents within 24 hours whenever reasonably possible. Delayed reporting may affect investigations.
13. Social Media Conduct
Users shall NOT publicly shame others, share private booking details, upload child-related content without consent, spread misinformation about Maa Nest users, or misrepresent Maa Nest publicly. Serious violations may result in legal escalation.
13.1 Public Representation
Users shall not falsely represent themselves as employees, official representatives, authorised spokespersons, or partners of Maa Nest. Unauthorised representation may result in platform action.
14. Illegal Activities Prohibited
Maa Nest strictly prohibits fraud, identity theft, human exploitation, child abuse, illegal substances, criminal activity, financial scams, and unauthorised surveillance. Maa Nest may cooperate with law-enforcement authorities where legally required.
15. Platform Enforcement Rights
Maa Nest may review reported behaviour, investigate complaints, remove content, restrict platform access, and suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Guidelines or related policies. Platform decisions are made at Maa Nest’s reasonable discretion.
15.1 Enforcement Measures
Maa Nest may take actions including:
- Warning notices
- Temporary restrictions
- Removal of privileges
- Suspension
- Permanent bans
- Content removal
- Referral to authorities where appropriate
16. Reporting Violations
You may report violations through official Maa Nest support systems. False, malicious, or abusive reports may themselves violate these Guidelines.
16.1 False Reporting
Knowingly submitting false, misleading, malicious, or fabricated reports may itself violate these Guidelines and may result in account suspension, platform restrictions, permanent bans, and legal action where appropriate.
17. Policy Updates
Maa Nest may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.

19. Governing Law
These Community Guidelines are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Guidelines is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
